What is the Cohart Storefront?

The storefront allows artists to feature and sell their artwork with a simple link that plugs into their link-in-bio, removing the need to build a personal website. The storefront can also be used at in-person studio visits, art fairs, or anywhere artists grow their business and community. Cohart manages all their logistics, insurance, and authentication, building buyer confidence for high-value sales (the average sale for Cohart artists is $5,000). There are also built-in “make an offer” tools and flexible payment plans for buyers.

In addition, the storefront streamlines how visual artists can build their community, and help their fans become high-intent collectors. With an easy subscribe button, their audience receives real-time notifications that replace long email newsletters for first access. When buyers do collect, they can showcase their art purchases in their mobile wallets, which helps artists build their referral network.

Your Storefront includes:

  • a preview of your biography
  • a quick Subscribe button to capture the audience
  • 10 artworks you'd like to highlight
  • 5 external links of related news or events
  • your sales history
  • your top 5 collectors

Imagine you drop a new artwork on Instagram. How do people buy it? Typically they’d have to DM you or search for it on your other website(s). Now you can feature it directly in your Storefront and they can purchase it in just a few clicks.

All Storefront sale logistics are managed by the Cohart team — we’ll get your work from point A to point B, insured.

Cohart charges a flat 8% shipping rate to domestic buyer and 10% shipping rate to international buyer.

How to access the Storefront

Navigate to your Artist Dashboard and find the Storefront option in left sidebar.

Why you should use the Cohart Storefront

  1. If you are an artist without e-commerce websites, you can direct a potential buyer to a place where they can immediately purchase art.
  2. Artists are offering an option for potential buyers who want the confidence to buy from a reputable company.
  3. You are providing a link for immediate purchase, and then have less concern of losing a potential sale because a buyer cannot figure out where to purchase.

Editing your Storefront

From your Storefront, you can add external links and other custom information that you’d like to feature. Treat this just like your LinkTree— you can include things like an article you were featured in, any upcoming shows you might have, a link to your website, other social platforms, etc.

Use the preview panel on the right hand side to view your updates in real time.

Feature your Collectors

Collectors need to be associated to the artworks that they purchased in order to be featured on your profile.

7.feature-collector

If you don’t have any collectors on Cohart yet, you can invite your collectors to join by navigating to the More option in the left sidebar, and select Invite My Collectors.

We can also help you add collectors to your Cohart network; please contact our team via the help buttons in the Artist Dashboard; we’ll reach out with next steps!

The order of collectors cannot be rearranged, but you can remove and add collectors at will.
