# About Cohart
#### What is Cohart?
Cohart is an AI-powered platform built for the global collectibles market - starting with art. We give creators the tools to run their business, and give collectors a smarter way to discover work they'll love.
#### Why we built this
The art world runs on relationships — but the tools haven't kept up.
Artists and galleries juggle a dozen disconnected apps just to run their day-to-day, and spread themselves across multiple platforms just to reach buyers. Each with its own audience, its own fees, its own rules. On the collector side, existing platforms feel transactional and impersonal — more like a search engine than a place to fall in love with art.
We built Cohart because we've lived in this world for decades and knew it could be better. For creators, everything lives in one place — sell online, at fairs, and in-person, manage inventory and client relationships, build your website, and use CocoAI to get in front of buyers most likely to love your work. For collectors, CocoAI learns your taste and surfaces work you'll actually want to own — whether you're browsing from home or heading to a fair.

#### Who we are
Cohart is female-founded, built by people who have lived in the art world for decades. Our founder and CEO, Shyevin S'ng, spent 20+ years as a gallerist and art dealer - selling over 500 artworks and facilitating $100M+ in sales globally. She built Cohart because she experienced the problem firsthand, every single day.
We're a team of gallerists, technologists, and community builders - creating the infrastructure the art world has always needed.
