Our Website Setup service is an offering designed to help you launch a polished, professional website on Cohart — without the stress of setting everything up yourself.

We’ll work with you to structure your site, create up to six custom pages, and even connect an existing custom domain so your online presence is ready to share with collectors, galleries, and your wider network.

Website migration support is available on Cohart Paid Plans:

• Pro & Growth plans: $200 flat fee
• Premier plan: Included at no additional cost

What to Expect

This is a guided setup service. We’ll take care of the technical setup and overall structure of your Cohart website, while you retain full control to make edits or updates anytime. This service focuses on initial setup and structure only and does not include custom design, branding, copywriting, or ongoing website edits.

Before we get started, you’ll want to add a few artwork listings to your Cohart inventory. These can be marked as available, previously sold, or inquire to purchase, and will automatically appear on your website. If you have a larger inventory you’d like help transferring over, we also offer Artwork Migration services to support that process.

  Organizing menus, page order, and hierarchy for clarity and ease of use.

  A final review to ensure everything is live, functional, and polished before sharing.

What’s Not Included (Good to Know)

To set clear expectations, this service does not include:

• Custom design or branding beyond Cohart’s existing website builder
• Copywriting or content creation (text must be provided by you)
• Ongoing website edits after setup (you can edit freely on your own)

Design Capabilities & Limitations

Cohart websites are designed to be clean, structured, and easy to maintain, with a strong focus on showcasing artwork and supporting sales. During setup, we focus on translating your content and structure into Cohart’s system rather than recreating a custom-coded site.

With Cohart’s website builder, you can use pre-designed templates and modular page blocks (text, images, video, buttons, and structured layouts) to create custom pages that are easy to update and optimized for mobile and search.

Because Cohart uses its own website framework, it isn’t possible to directly replicate the exact design or code of an existing custom-built site. This means fonts, background colors, animations, and custom code are not customizable or transferable. Spacing and typography also follow the template system to ensure consistency and performance.

For artists with a very bespoke existing site, we usually recommend:

• Translating the content and story, rather than the exact design

• Letting the artwork take center stage within Cohart’s clean layout

• Using custom pages to break content into clear, readable sections

• Some artists choose to keep more experimental or editorial design elements on a legacy site, while using Cohart as their primary hub for portfolio presentation, sales, and business management.
