Profile Verification on Cohart
A verified profile helps collectors purchase with greater confidence by showing that your account has been set up with care, marking a complete or legitimate profile.
Verification helps to:
- Build trust with collectors browsing your profile and artwork
- Make it easier for buyers to identify legitimate artists, galleries, and organizations
- Add credibility when sharing your Link-in-Bio, website, or marketplace listings
- Help create a more trusted marketplace for everyone
Verification does not affect your ability to upload artworks or sell through Cohart, but it does help collectors feel more confident when purchasing.
How to Get Verified
1. Complete your profile
Make sure your profile includes:
- ☑️ A profile photo or logo – high-resolution headshot or photo.
- ☑️ A unique username – your first and last name, or your artist or brand nickname.
- ☑️ A short bio
- ☑️ Your location
- ☑️ A completed shipping address (not publicly visible)
- ☑️ At least 1 artwork listing
We also recommend connecting your social media accounts and any additional information that might be relevant to the network.
To make updates, visit your profile -> Edit profile button.

2. Upload your work
Upload at least one artwork to your Inventory.
For the strongest profile, we recommend including several works with:
- Images
- Medium
- Dimensions
- Year created
- Pricing (if available for purchase)
You can also display sold works to showcase your exhibition and sales history.
To add an artwork listing, visit Inventory -> + Upload Artwork.

3. Wait for review
Once your profile meets the basic requirements, our system will review it for verification.
If you haven't received a verification badge within a few business days, please contact hello@cohart.com and we'll be happy to review your profile manually.

After verifying your profile, you can continue building your presence by:
- Completing your Link-in-Bio
- Building your Cohart website
- Listing artworks on Cohart Discover
- Creating Private Views
- Growing your collector mailing list
- Processing sales with invoices, QR codes, or Tap-to-Pay

Some partner fairs, galleries, and organizations may also receive custom profile badges for their members or exhibitors.
